What you can do in the "Side by side viewer"
Some contextual information on conventions and behaviours of the text viewer.
What the labels mean
- W Indicates the Work
- V3 Indicates the Version and the colour associated with it, where "3" is the version number.
- YY Indicates the Manuscript, where "YY" is the Manuscript siglum.
- § Block XX Indicates the beginning of the block and its number.
- XX Indicates the sentence number.
- v lorem Indicates an unsettled area at version level.
- wsibi regnoque insurgentes oportet esse decoratam,
- The symbol ⊕ denotes an area of unsettled text, resulting from version texts having different abstracted graphemes in that location.
- The symbol ∅ denotes the absence of text present in that location in other manuscripts.
- In the bart chart view, every brick with a continuos border line and light blue background represents an unsettled region at version level.
- In the bar chart view, every brick with a dashed border line and beige background represents an unsettled region at work level.
