Professor Dauvit Broun

Dauvit Broun is professor of Scottish history at the University of Glasgow. He specialises in studying texts which have no literary merit, and is particularly interested in working with others to develop new ways of interacting with and thinking about texts. His publications include The Irish Identity of the Kingdom of the Scots in the Twelfth and Thirteenth Centuries (1999) and The Chronicle of Melrose Abbey: Facsimile and Stratigraphic Edition (with Julian Harrison) (2007).
